“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb, you saw me before I was born. Every day of my life as recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them: they outnumbered the grains of same! And when I wake up, you are sill with me! (Psalm 139:13-18, NLT)
Those verses are letting you know that you are special. God took his time to make sure you came out perfect! You may not think you are But God does. The scripture says “He knit you together in your mother’s womb”- do you know how special you are! to knit something takes a lot of practice, patience & time. You want to make sure the design, the pattern is perfect. That is what God was thinking when he made you. “You were formed in utter seclusion” He knew he needed to put two individuals together (your parents) to make you. It doesn’t matter if they thought it wasn’t the right timing if it was a mistake, planned or not planned! God knew the time you were going to be needed on earth! It was predestined! My parents had me at the young age of 15 & 16. Neither one was ready to be a parent, they could have gotten rid of me, but God knew my place on earth was important! As much as the enemy tried to stop my arrival & kill me in the process during my birth, he was defeated & he keeps losing every day I’m living! The enemy will have you thinking terrible things about yourself, he will have you question why you were born, tell you that you’re not important. But God is telling you to not believe the lie! God knows your existence is important! He has been with you since the beginning!
I know firsthand the tricks of the enemy and I have overcome a lot of things. For example, Depression. Depression all started with the feeling of rejection and feeling unworthy. As I mentioned earlier my parents had me very young so my Father was not present for the majority of my growing up. So those thoughts of why he wasn’t there, what did we do, was there anything I could have done was running through my mind. I was a real tomboy growing up. I loved basketball (thought I was going to the WNBA, lol) So having my father in my life to play basketball with or just to have those Father-Daughter conversations weren’t available to me. A Father is supposed to give you your identity and I didn’t have one around to do that. So I was lost which caused me to be in my head a whole lot! I am a person that is always in my head so the things that my mother, sister and I had to go through were not helping my mindset. The enemy was busy telling me all types of things; your father doesn’t want you, you’re not that smart, pretty, etc. I had a lot of insecurities! I had no identity. One thing my mother made sure she did through everything we had to endure was she kept us grounded in the word. So as I started getting to know Him and letting go of all the things that were keeping me bound up. The healing process started. I realized a great man did love me and had been there all along. God was letting me know that you may not have had a natural Father present But I am your Father I have been with you since the day you were conceived. My deliverance started happening. Restoration and forgiveness were taken place. My relationship with my natural father changed tremendously. Thanks to the one that made me “wonderfully complex” and took his time to knit me together.
God knows every strength, weakness, flaw, etc. God is our everything He is the only one that knows us inside and out, our inner thoughts. God wants you to know that you were not a mistake and to not worry about how you got here. God’s intention was for you to be here to fulfill His purpose on earth. You overcoming your pain is not just for you but to help someone else get through. No need to beat yourself up, God knows. You may be the sum total of your parents, but if you have accepted God in your life you have been adopted into a new family. The Family of Christ! You have his blood and DNA running through your veins.
If you have not accepted him, it’s not too late. (Romans 10:9-10) God is here to lift that weight, take away all those fears, remove the burdens, and make you a new creature. He wants to show you all the things he has for you, he wants you to discover and walk in your purpose. He wants to show you what unconditional love looks like. It’s time to find your joy and peace in him! Are you open to him.? I’m here to encourage you! Do not give up, keep fighting, keep pressing on!! God is here for you! Give him a chance! He will change your life tremendously!!
